Christ Church Racing Team
 What is C.C.R.T.?
 Christ Church Racing Team is a group of christian race enthusists that includes E-mod racers (economy modified), Pure stock racers, R/C racers (remote controlled), Go-Cart racers, and four wheel drive mud racers. Team members include ages that range from 5 year olds to over sixty. The race team involves men, boys, women, and girls that meet monthly to discuss racing, family, and Christian living among many other topics.
How Did It Start?
 C.C.R.T. started while pastor and loyal race fan David Howell was seeking God in how to reach the unchurched. He was compelled to sell a four wheeler he owned and purchase a used Economy Modified race car. Though is sounded crazy to many people around him, it made perfect sense to him. Evangalism has always been about going where the people are to reach them. Racing is the fastest growing sport in the nation. What better place to reach people.
It did not take long to confirm that this was a God idea. Pastor Dave began meeting with a small group to work on his race car. The group involved both saved and unsaved. There was drinking and foul language in the beginning, but it wasn't long before different ones began to see the anointing on Dave's life. This anointing not only caused them to slow down the foul language and drinking, but it also caused them to ask about how to fix their broken lives. Since then the group has multiplied and become faithful church members. Over 60 percent of the Christ Church congregation became members through the racing ministry.
What's The Purpose?
 Since it's beginning Christ Church Racing Team has been about using creative methods to reach people who need to be reached. Just as Christ reached the fishermen by going fishing, C.C.R.T. will continue to reach unchurched racers through racing. It has never been about going out and preaching at people at the tracks. It has been about showing people how to live a victorious life both on and off the track. Simpy put, C.C.R.T.'s purpose is to produce Christian champions.
How Can I Get Involved?
 C.C.R.T. is not an exclusive members only club. To get involved you can call 918-686-9933 to find out our meeting times. The team meets on the
first Tuesday of the month at Pizza Inn. Not every one involved races. Some are sponsors, some are fans, and some members are new to the racing phenomenon. So don't hesitate to get plugged in!
